Supporters Club!
Damien has been well supported from the beginning by Family, Friends, Neighbours and fellow Golfers. His success to date is attributed to his sheer determination to achieve his goals, along with the continuous support of the above groups. He has also won countrywide support through his profession, playing with both Amateurs and Professionals alike.Kells, Co. Meath.The bulk of his supporters stem from the towns of Kells and Wexford.
Damien was born and reared in Kells, County Meath. He is the eldest son in a Family of three boys and three girls. His immediate Family has always been on-hand to support each step in his success to date. Family members are often to be seen lending support at different events during the years. Brothers Micheal and Ronan have caddied on numerous occasions.

Damien has many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins (too many to mention). All of them lend their full support. These include but are not limited to, Uncles: Gerry Mc Grane (Headfort Golf Club) and Alan Mc Grane (Delvin Golf Club), both of whom are known to follow Damien around the courses on the Irish Circuit and caddy when required, Aunts: Eileen Mc Kenna, Philomena Heary and Ursala Mc Govern have also been spotted checking Damiens' progress during the European Open in the K-Club!
Damien has many Cousins. These include (but are not limited to) supporters Naomi Mc Grane (Headfort Golf Club) and Eibheann Mc Grane, both of whem have watched Damien live on different courses. Naomi has been spotted at different courses ( K-Club, Baltray ) monitoring progress with Damien's younger brother Micheal, while young Eibheann (6yrs) has accompanied his father to The Island and the K-Club to lend his support.
During recent years Damien has been fortumate to have brothers, David and Andy Lynch to perform the duties of Caddy for him. Both David and Andy are keen golfers and are members of Headfort Golf Club. Their support in hauling the big Mizuno bag around the courses in all types of weather, as well as keeping Damien sane and amused, has been acknowledged.
Several others from Kells have travelled to watch Damien on numerours courses. These include Friends, Relatives and Members of Headfort Golf Club. Finally, one other juvenile supporter which deserves a mention is Stephen Caffrey, better known as "Stereo". This young man has been dubbed "No.1 Supporter" by Damien's mother - Attracta.
Wexford.Ever since making the long journey down to Wexford, in the "Sunny South East", Damien has consistently acknowledged the full and continuous support of Wexford Golf Club. This is evident by the continuous presence of members at the various events when Damien is playing away from Wexford. The support of the Golf Club helps to alleviate pressure and allow him to focus more on the task in hand. Many shots, both won and lost are discussed afterwards over a cup of tea in the Clubhouse!
